The 160 construction lanes have been rerouted but we are still open for shopping and daily treasure hunting. Store parking is still easily accessible and available for shoppers.
We will continue to share updates throughout the construction. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this project.
- Our main parking lot for thrift store shoppers and donation drop-off area remains fully accessible.
- Donation drop-off days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (unchanged). See below for our uptown drop-off location.
- Current store hours are:
- Tuesday – Saturday: 9:30am – 5pm
- Sunday: 10am – 5pm
- Monday: Closed
Your support is vital to the animals in our care. Every vintage find, one-of-a-kind treasure, and donated item provides food, shelter, and medical care for the dogs and cats who depend on us.
New Uptown Drop-off Location for Donation Items
We are excited to announce we have a new, additional uptown drop-off location for your donations! We are working hard to make shopping and donations as accessible as possible for you during the 160 road construction.
Donating just got easier.
WHERE: 298 Bastille Dr #D1, Pagosa Springs
WHEN: Friday from 10am – 1:00pm, and on Saturday 9:30am – 4:30pm only. IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave donation items outside under any circumstances or we will lose our lease.
- We’ve made giving easier — because animals can’t wait.
- More Hours. More ways to give — more animals protected.
- Now open longer to help animals live.
- Your donations matter — and now they’re easier to make.
The Humane Society has extended hours at our Uptown Donation Drop-Off Center, now open 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 298 Bastille Drive, Unit D1.
Whether you’re dropping off household items, clothing, or small goods, your donations help fund the daily care, medical treatment, and protection of homeless and abandoned animals in our community. And for those looking for the convenience of donating without shopping, the Uptown Drop-Off Center is designed just for you — quick, easy, and mission-driven.
Yes — our downtown Thrift Store is still open for business, with dedicated, accessible parking, and we encourage you to come down and shop. Every purchase directly supports shelter operations and life-saving programs. We are still accepting donation items at the Thrift Store’s physical downtown location during regular donation times (Tues, Thurs, and Sat: 10am-3pm). The new location is intended to offer you an additional option.
Your donations. Your choice. One shared purpose: helping animals in need.
We are available on Friday afternoons to assist you with large-item pick-ups. If you need help, give us a call at the Thrift Store, 970-264-6424, to make arrangements between 1-4pm.

Downtown Donation Drop-Off Closed Saturday, Sept 27th
Uptown Location Will Remain Open
Our Thrift Store will not be doing our regular donation drop-offs on Saturday, September 27th. We’ll be participating in the downtown sidewalk sale with limited space in our parking lot.
**Please note that our uptown drop-off location will remain open. **
Thank you for your patience, and we’ll be resuming regular Thrift Store drop-off times on Tuesday, September 30th!
We Heard You
Shoppers asked that we open on Sundays so you can shop when there is no construction.
We are now open on Sundays 10:00 to 5:00 and CLOSED on Mondays.
